In SmartVista project, we aim to develop a smart multi-modal sensing platform for health vital signs monitoring through the development of 1D/2D nanomaterials based sensors, on-chip thermal energy harvester, novel printable battery system and wireless platform enabled by 3D heterogeneous integration of these subsystems. The SmartVista sensors will reduce the risk of sudden deaths, due to different types of cardiovascular disease, by enhanced detection and diagnosis performance. Partners are Tyndall/University of College Cork, CNRS (LIRMM, IES and Phymedex labs) Fraunhofer EMFT, NovoSense and Analog Devices.
